American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in Florida. Requires 3-5 years IR experience, active FL license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS with NIH Stroke Scale. Responsibilities include procedural support in IR lab and care for adults and children in a Level I trauma hospital.

The role features 4x10-hour day shifts, with on-call coverage and remote access to EMR systems; travel experience preferred. Sick leave and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
• 3-5 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience required.
• Experience with Neuro Vascular procedures, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy Support, Trauma, and Peripheral Vascular procedures.
• Sedation administration and monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, and pressure ulcer prevention are required.
• FBON-approved nursing degree; if from FBON-approved institution, 2 years of recent acute care in US hospital in past 24 months.
• Level I Trauma hospital experience required.
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprints required.

Responsabilités

• Work in Interventional Radiology unit within a Level I Trauma hospital setting.
• Care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform Neuro Vascular procedures, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy Support, Trauma and Peripheral Vascular procedures.
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, including weekdays and weekends.
• Provide direct nursing care and procedural support in IR lab.
• Pass basic arrhythmia/EKG assessment with retake option for lethal rhythms.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with 3-5 years of recent IR experience and an active FL or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required (AHA)
• 3-5 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience required
• Experience with Neuro Vascular procedures, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy Procedure Support, Trauma, and Peripheral Vascular Procedures required
• Skills required include procedure sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, RASS, radiation and laser safety, sheath removal and closure device monitoring, and pressure ulcer prevention
• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited school or an FBON-approved institution
• If degree is from an FBON-approved institution, 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within a US hospital in the past 24 months is required
• Level I Trauma hospital experience required
• Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening required, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review

Responsibilities

• Performs Neuro Vascular procedures, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Biopsy Procedure Support, Trauma, and Peripheral Vascular Procedures
• 4x10-hour Day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, including weekdays and weekends
• Requires 4-8 days of on-call coverage
• Epic EMR experience required; Cerner experience preferred
• Provide direct nursing care and procedural support within the Interventional Radiology lab
• Must pass a basic arrhythmia/EKG assessment, with a retake exam available if initial score is below 100% on lethal rhythms
• Smoke-free facility
• Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Former Broward Health employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates from Operation Nightingale schools are not accepted
• Proof of vaccination status is required with no declinations allowed
