American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN for a 26-week assignment in Florida. Must hold an active Florida RN license (or compact licensure), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS certification.

Requires at least 1 year of critical care/ICU/ER experience and IR nursing preferred in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include working in the IR Suite, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, on-call rotations, 1:1 patient ratios, and collaboration with a clinical team.

Qualifikationen

• Current AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer
• NIHSS Stroke Education Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Critical Care, ICU, or ER experience
• Minimum 1 year of IR nursing experience preferred, especially in a hospital setting
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Aufgaben

• Work in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Suite within Radiology Special Procedures
• Unit staffed with Director, Supervisor, Lead IR Tech, IR RNs, and IR Techs
• Day shift typically 2 IR RNs and 2-3 IR Techs; flexing based on volume
• On-call rotation for nights and weekends among staff
• Patient ratio 1:1, varies with procedure needs
• Use GE Bi-plane imaging equipment
• EMR systems include Meditech and PACs McKesson
• Shift hours 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Administer medications, initial assessments, care plans, review labs/history
• Discharge education for procedures and follow-up care
• May assist as circulator or scrub in to support IR Tech
• Work in a close-knit, fast-paced team with strong physician relationships
• Scrub color for RNs: navy blue
• Candidates must reside >50 miles from facility
• Facility has a 253-bed capacity
