Job summary

Solutions By Sanford is seeking an experienced RN to provide specialized nursing care on travel assignments. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments and coordinate patient care across inter-professional teams in a hospital setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an unencumbered RN license; a Bachelor’s in nursing is preferred. Contracts run for 14 weeks with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Plans, coordinates care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.
• Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.
