American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU Float RN with a California RN license, EPIC experience, and at least 3 years of ICU experience for a night shift position.
- ICU Float Pool position within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active, unrestricted CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS and PALS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience, within the last 3 months
- BSN preferred
- Prior acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC and Cerner experience must be documented in employment history
- Candidates with any prior licensure action will not be considered
- Delivers coordinated nursing care and supervises assigned nursing staff while collaborating across disciplines
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes
- Participates in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Required to comply with all facility vaccination policies, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Holiday RTO requests will not be approved
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
