American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Nursing Resource Team Float Pool position covering ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and ER at a Level II trauma facility. Requires 2 years ICU experience and Idaho RN license.

Shift is 12-hour nights, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a 13-week assignment. You may float to ER/PCU/ICU as needed; EPIC EMR is used for patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

Active Idaho RN license required.
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN accepted).
Minimum 2 years ICU experience within the last 2 years at Level I or II trauma facility.
Experience floating to PCU/Med Surg and ER.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Department of Health & Welfare background fingerprinting required.

Requirements

Prior experience working in or floating to PCU and Med Surg with comfort in those ratios required
Prior experience working in or floating to ER with experience taking a patient assignment required
Experience with cardiac drips required
Experience with non-invasive ventilation required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Department of Health & Welfare background fingerprinting required

Additional Information

Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care across ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and ER units
Cares for ED pod, boarded, and true ER patient assignments as needed
Collaborates within interprofessional teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
Integrates evidence-based practice and uses clinical data to support decision-making and improve outcomes
Does not accept local candidates and enforces a 50-mile radius restriction
Facility reserves the right to cancel up to one shift every 30 days without penalty
