Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Minnesota. A current Minnesota RN license or proof of license application is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications and 1–2+ years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities include caring for ICU patients on day or night shifts (3x12 hours), with every 3rd weekend required. Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in Minnesota and adhere to facility lab timelines. Local applicants within 25 miles are not considered.

Qualifications

• Minnesota RN license (active or application in process)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2+ years ICU experience required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/management skills

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) and night shift: 3x12 hours (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
• Livescan fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start date per state law
• Max 7 days RTO; no RTO in first 2 weeks
• Former permanent staff must be separated for 9 months before traveling
• Local candidates within 25 miles not accepted
• Traveler's primary residence must be >50 miles from facility
• First-time travelers with strong ICU experience considered

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring a Minnesota RN license and at least 1-2 years of ICU experience.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• 1-2+ years of acute ICU experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
• Day shift (3x12 hours, 6:45 AM-7:15 PM) and night shift (3x12 hours, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM) available
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Uses Epic charting system (preferred)
• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
• Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, as required by Minnesota state law
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are not accepted; local is defined as within 25 miles of the facility
• Traveler's primary residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers with strong ICU experience will be considered
