American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift ICU RN in New York with an active NY license and Epic charting proficiency. You’ll work 3x12 shifts (19:00–07:00) in a community hospital ICU, with a 1:2–3 patient ratio and weekend requirements.

The 13-week assignment includes travel pay eligibility outside a 75-mile radius and potential onboarding bonuses. The role requires 2+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and arterial/central line skills.

Qualificações

• Active NY RN license in hand.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with arterial/central/PICC line management.
• Experience with blood products and IV therapy.
• Ability to titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips.

Responsabilidades

• Provide critical care nursing in ICU settings (medical & surgical; burn & thermoregulation cases).
• Night shift 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00).
• Patient ratio 1:2–3; every other weekend.
• Floating to different units as needed.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius to be eligible for travel pay.
• First-time travelers may be considered; prior health system experience preferred.

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN requiring an active NY license, 2 years of ICU experience, and Epic charting proficiency.

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting experience required
• Charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in arterial line, central line, and PICC line management
• Experience with blood product administration and IV therapy
• Proficient in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and neuromuscular blockade
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience obtaining and interpreting 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Knowledge of IV insulin protocols
• Experience with infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with phlebotomy and emergency medications
