Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU travel position in Tennessee. The role requires a TN or Compact RN license, at least 2 years ICU experience, and prior travel nursing experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.

The ICU is a 14-bed unit in a 130-bed facility with 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), 36 hours weekly, and a 6-week rotation including at least 4 weekend shifts. Local candidates may be offered a lower rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) on file.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 14-bed ICU within a 130-bed hospital.
• Patient population includes sepsis, ARF, ARDS, CHF, and COVID cases across all age ranges.
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week.
• Weekend requirement of at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, with Saturday or Sunday coverage for day shift and Friday or Saturday coverage for night shift.
• No floating required.
• No charge nurse responsibilities required.
• Scrubs of any color permitted.
• Accepts local candidates at a lower rate.
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility.
