Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Tennessee. Requires TN or Compact license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and at least 2 years of ICU experience including prior travel nursing experience.

Position features 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p), 36 hours per week, and weekend shifts. Local candidates within 75 miles may be offered a lower rate; orientation dates available 11/30 or 12/7; Navy scrubs may be required.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• ICU patient population 18+, including ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock cases.
• Unit creates the schedule; flexibility required to meet staffing needs; weekend shifts required.
• Floating to Stepdown/ER as needed; uses Cerner EMR.
• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population.

• Patient population 18+ including ARDS/pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock cases
• Patient ratios of 1-2
• 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, 36 hours per week
• Unit creates the schedule; no block schedule offered and flexibility required to meet staffing needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to Stepdown/ER as neededUses Cerner EMR
• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population
• Navy scrubs required
• Orientation dates limited to 11/30 or 12/7
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate under a 75-mile radius rule
