Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an ICU RN for night shift in Montana. You must hold MT or compact RN licensure, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS. The ASN degree is required; BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year ICU experience and Epic charting experience are required. DOB and last 4 of SSN are needed for consideration.

Shifts are 12 hours, night schedule, three days per week (36 hours). Returning staff must be separated from Intermountain facilities for at least one year before travel.

Qualifications

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience.
• Epic charting experience required.
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week).
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the patient care continuum.
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, refer patients as needed.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system.
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with drug screening expected within 24 hours of commitment.
