Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is actively seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a hospital-based critical care role in Billings, MT. Licensure must be MT or compact, with current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Position includes day shifts, 12-hour shifts, three days per week totaling 36 hours weekly. ICU experience and Epic charting proficiency are required; 1 year of ICU experience preferred. DOB and last 4 SSN are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MT or compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS (AHA certifications required, not expiring prior to start).
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
