Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float Pool RN with ER and ICU experience for a Hawaii hospital, on 12-hour evening and night shifts.

This travel assignment requires an active Hawaii RN license, a minimum of 2 years' ER and ICU experience, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. The role includes floating to ER/ICU and supporting rapid response and code blue teams, across 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active HI RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Required ER and ICU experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Critical Care Float Pool role covering ER and ICU patients.
• May float to other nursing units in a support capacity.
• Duties include expediting on other floors, patient care, and telemetry monitoring.
• Serves as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams as needed.
• 12-hour shifts: evenings and nights; schedule totals 72–80 hours per 2 weeks.
• Provides primary care to ER and ICU patients and supports facility-wide emergency response.
