Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night-shift LTAC assignment requiring strong vent, trach, and drip skills.

Must hold Missouri or Compact RN license with BLS/ACLS, and have at least 2 years LTAC experience. Responsibilities include night rotations, 1:5–6 ratios, EOW, and occasional floating to other units.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years LTAC experience.
• Vent, trach and drip management proficiency.
• Two professional references required.
• PDF copies of driver’s license and SSN card required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CCU/ICU of a LTAC facility.
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12 hours.
• Maintain 1:5–6 patient ratios typical for LTAC.
• Every other weekend (EOW) work.
• Weekend/holiday coverage in rotation.
• Floating as needed per policy and experience.
• Deliver critical care to LTAC patients on vents and trachs.

• Experience managing drips required

Responsibilities

• Work in the CCU/ICU of an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) facility
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 typical for LTAC setting
• Every other weekend (EOW) work required
• Weekend and holiday coverage in rotation with staff
• Floating required in rotation with staff per facility policy and clinical experience
• Deliver critical care nursing to complex LTAC patients requiring ventilator and trach management
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel candidates
• Requests for time off must be approved prior to start and are discouraged during initial weeks of the assignment
