Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel assignment at an 86-bed community hospital in Ohio. The role requires an OH or Compact RN license, telemetry interpretation skills, and EPIC EMR experience.

The position features 3x12-hour days (0700-1900), with rotating weekends and holidays. Navy blue scrubs are required, and housing/transportation considerations are provided for travelers.

Qualifications

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring an OH or compact RN license, independent telemetry interpretation skills, and EPIC EMR experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (OH state or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry independently
• EPIC charting experience required
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of an 86-bed community hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (0700-1900)
• Requires working every other weekend and every other holiday
• Travelers are first to float
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply
• Maximum RTO of 10 days per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• RNs must have a 366-day separation from prior OhioHealth employment before returning as a traveler
• PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
• More than one call-off results in termination, and a no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
