Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU assignment in Texas. The night shift runs 7P to 7A and requires current MICU experience and NIH Stroke certification.

Candidates must hold an active TX or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and have no more than 30 days of certification expiration at start. Travel nurses welcome; housing and per diem details are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke certification required for MICU placement
• Minimum 1 year of recent MICU experience
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Night shift schedule, 7P-7A
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
