Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy role in North Carolina. You will support endoscopy procedures in a hospital setting with 1:1 patient ratios, 8- or 10-hour shifts, and on-call requirements.

Active NC or compact RN license and 2+ years of endoscopy nursing experience are required; Meditech EHR and Olympus GI equipment experience are preferred. Travel rate applies for residents 60 miles or more away; local rate otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Procedural RN role within the Endoscopy department performing upper and lower GI procedures
• Single Endo room setting (second room in progress) with 1:1 patient ratios
• Adult patient population only, no pediatric cases
• Most procedures are diagnostic; no advanced procedures such as ERCP performed
• Uses standard GI equipment (Olympus) and Meditech EHR
• 8 or 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with on-call requirements
• Call required 4-6 weekdays per month and every 3rd weekend
• No floating required
• Perform diagnostic GI endoscopy procedures in a hospital surgical services department
• Join a team within the Surgical Services unit overseen by the Surgical Services Director
• Facility is a 294-bed, Joint Commission accredited hospital offering cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services
• Scrubs of any color accepted; provocative, offensive, or political attire not permitted
• Candidates must be pleasant, positive, and hard-working team fits
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate, otherwise local rate applies
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
