Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI Lab/Endoscopy role in Wisconsin. Must hold a WI or compact RN license with procedural care expertise.

Requirements include BLS/ACLS/PALS, Epic EMR experience, and Nursys verification within 30 days of start. At least 1 year in periop/procedural care; travel nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• AHA certification required for BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Periop and procedural care experience (ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopies).
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting.
• Provide procedural and perioperative nursing care for GI/Endoscopy patients (ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopies).
• Shift: 0630–1500 or 0730–1530, Monday–Friday.
• Call coverage as needed; current schedule includes weekday nights and every third weekend.
• Holiday rotation shared with staff.
• Float to SDS/PACU within the hospital as needed; may float to facilities within 40 miles.

• Periop and procedural care experience required, including specialty cases such as ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
• Procedural care for GI/Endoscopy cases including ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies
• Monday through Friday shift, either 0630-1500 or 0730-1530
• Call coverage based on department needs, currently weekday nights and every third weekend
• Holiday rotation shared with staff
• Floating required to SDS and PACU within the hospital as needed
• May float onsite within skill set or to facilities within 40 miles if needed
• Provide direct procedural and periop nursing care for GI/Endoscopy patients
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered
