Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a GI/Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Texas. Requires active TX RN license or compact license and 1 year endoscopy experience. Endoscopy knowledge, strong communication, and teamwork are essential.

Must provide SSN and DOB; no 90-day gaps in work history. First-time travelers encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include working in an endoscopy unit with 3 rooms and a 12-person team, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, M-F, with 1:1 patient ratios.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license or compact license required
• 1 year of recent endoscopy experience required
• Endoscopy-specific clinical knowledge required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Endoscopy unit with 3 procedure rooms and a team of 12 staff members
• Day shift only with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 1:1 patient ratio with one RN and one Endo Tech assigned per procedure room
• Common procedures include EGD and colonoscopy
• Uses Olympus scopes and EndoSoft charting, transitioning to Provation
• Uses MediTech EMR
• Call responsibilities required for this position
• Join an experienced, tenured team with strong working relationships and a collaborative unit culture
• Work alongside physicians who have practiced in the department for over 20 years
• Unit reports 97% employee satisfaction
• Blue scrub color required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
