Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position, requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience and an active RN license. Responsibilities include geriatric home health care, a 5-7 patient daily caseload, Monday–Friday schedule with possible weekends, and on-call duties.

The role covers a 60-mile radius from the hub, with iPad provided and IRS mileage reimbursement. Medication scrubs policy applies, and locals may be hired at travel rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience
• OASIS experience required for SOCs
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Proof of vehicle insurance required
• No first-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to geriatric home health patients
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Schedule is Monday through Friday with possible weekend shifts
• On-call responsibilities discussed during interview
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office
• Traveler must be flexible with assigned territory
• iPad provided; mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
• Scrubs required in any color, no jeans
• Locals accepted at the travel rate
• Compliance items must be started within 24 hours of accepted offer
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; any additional RTO after offer requires manager approval
