Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced RNs for a part-time, night-shift mobile staffing role at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, IA. RNs will float across locations and shifts, delivering care per standard nursing processes and maintaining licensure compliance.

The role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, travel and per diem opportunities, and professional development in diverse practice settings within the health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2+ years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply the nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within licensure and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
• Adapt to new ideas and handle competing priorities.
