Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for its mobile staffing program at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, IA. Part-time, 12-hour day shifts with flexible assignment options regionally and nationwide.

RNs must have an accredited nursing degree, current Iowa licensure, and 18+ months in Med Surg/Tele/PCU or 2+ years in other specialties. Premium pay and travel/per diem opportunities are offered, with program-wide benefits and support.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
Minimum of 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
Credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float across hospital locations and regions.
Practice using standard professional nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
Act independently within scope of license and experience.
Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
