Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part-time mobile staffing across the health system, including MercyOne Newton in IA. RNs will float to multiple locations, provide care across specialties, and participate in flexible scheduling with premium compensation.

Position offers 12-hour night shifts, travel opportunities, and a path to diverse practice settings while supporting professional growth and license/certification reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold active RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS credentials as required by specialty (per American Heart Association)

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge and experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement outcomes.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
