Job summary

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part-time, 12-hour day shifts at MercyOne DeWitt Medical Center in Iowa. RNs will float across hospital units, providing direct patient care in line with standards and safety requirements.

Ideal candidates have valid RN licensure, 18+ months Med Surg/Tele/PCU, or 2+ years in other specialties; ACLS/PALS/BLS per specialty. Premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel/per diem opportunities offered.

Qualifications

RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice.
Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience.
Minimum 2 years in all other specialties including CC, Surgical, Maternity, ED, Behavioral Health.
Credentials per specialty (ACLS/TNCC/PALS); BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float across hospital and multiple locations/regions as needed.
Provide care per nursing process: assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
Act independently within license and scope of practice.
Delegate, make decisions, and own outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement.
Be adaptable to new ideas and shifting priorities.
