Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a Level III Trauma Center in Ohio. The role involves a 13-week assignment with rotating evening and night shifts, requiring 3+ years of ED experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

The position includes a 36-hour week, shifts 3PM–3:30AM or 7PM–7:30AM, and a schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Licensure in OH or a compact state is required, with TNCC/ENPC preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of ED experience or 3 completed ED travel assignments.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC and ENPC strongly preferred but not required.
• Epic EMR experience required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in a Level III Trauma Center ED with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays.
• One of the top 10 busiest EDs in Ohio.
• 36 hours per week on a rotating evening/night shift schedule.
• Shifts scheduled either 3PM to 3:30AM or 7PM to 7:30AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday rotation required.
• On-call is not expected and should be a rare occurrence.
• Requests for excessive RTO around the holidays will not be approved.
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
