Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift assignment in Ohio. Requires 18 months of recent ED experience and an active OH or compact RN license, plus ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. Epic EMR experience is required. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are mandatory unless exemptions apply.

The role includes a 13-week assignment with nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and at least every other holiday. A manager/supervisor reference is required.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required.
• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only; Flu vaccine required with exemptions only.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Uses Epic EMR system.
• Required to work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation (max 2 attempts).
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate.
• Background check hits reviewed by facility; open cases not accepted.
• License hits not accepted by facility.
