American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment in Tennessee. The role requires a TN or Compact RN license and at least 5 years of ED experience. The ED handles diverse diagnoses and patient ages in a high-volume setting.

The position includes a 7 PM–7 AM schedule with every-other-weekend coverage, requires teamwork, and offers travel-related benefits and housing options for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 5 years of ED nursing experience required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Willingness to work in a busy ED setting.

Responsabilités

• Work in a 13-bay Emergency Department with over 15,000 annual visits.
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:4.
• Treat all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric.
• Common diagnoses include kidney stones, ACS, stroke, sprains, fractures, and AKI.
• Document in Meditech EHR.
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating within scope and skillset.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift (7P-7A) travel assignment requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 5 years of ED experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 5 years of ED nursing experience required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Willingness to work in a busy ED setting

Responsibilities

• 13-bay Emergency Department with over 15,000 annual visits in an acute and skilled care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Treats all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Common diagnoses include kidney stones, ACS, stroke, sprains, fractures, and AKI
• Uses B450 monitors and Baxter pumps
• Documents in Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope and skillset
• Positive attitude and strong personality fit valued by the unit
• Any scrub color accepted, but attire branded with another facility's name is not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
