Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role in Colorado. Requires CO or Compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC and NIHSS certifications. 1+ year ED nursing experience and ASN; BSN preferred.

Epic charting experience is a plus. DOB and last 4 digits of SSN are required for consideration. Shifts are 12-hour, 3 per week, including weekends. You may float to other departments as needed and could be on-call during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Active CO or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS.
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, including mid shifts.
• Weekend shifts required.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
