Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept night shift position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Required to float to Marana ED and sister hospitals including Northwest Medical Center, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process and critical thinking skills
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
