Responsibilities

• No on-call responsibilities; floating within facility as needed.
• Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia management.
• RTO limits and holiday coverage as outlined in the contract.

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS (CPI, ENPC, and TNCC preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Experience with respiratory care and ventilated patient management
• Experience with continuous IV sedation administration (procedural sedation experience preferred)
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
• Triage experience required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO can be requested during orientation week or after an offer is made
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day)
• Limited holiday RTO may be considered only if three major holidays fall within the assignment
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Previous Piedmont employees (perm/per diem/float staff) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers previously cancelled or deemed ineligible to return must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
