Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts. An active MA RN license and Epic EMR experience are required. This 13-week assignment features a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts and every-other-weekend.

Requirements include BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA, PALS or ENPC, with TNCC and MAB preferred. Onboarding tests must be passed with a single attempt. Vaccines are required.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required.
• PALS or ENPC certification required.
• TNCC and MAB certifications preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Must pass ECG/Tele and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital.
• 12-hour night shift schedule with every other weekend required.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Must complete dysrhythmia and medication competency testing via Zoom within 48 hours of offer, with an 85% passing score and no remediation.
• Vaccine requirement: COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed).
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Prev Beth Israel Lahey Health employees must have a 6-month break before returning.
