Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA RN license, independent strip-reading skills, and EPIC EMR experience.

The 12-hour night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week over 13 weeks, with every other weekend. Candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred; local candidates will not be considered. Must pass the day-one competency test and complete Relias modules.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Pass day-one competency test at orientation (one attempt).
• Complete Relias onboarding modules within 2 attempts.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital.
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating to Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed.
• No monitor techs on unit; read cardiac strips independently.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Biweekly orientation schedule.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Local candidates not considered.
• Candidates who have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in last 6 months will not be considered.
• Vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu; medical exemptions allowed.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
