Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role requiring a TX or compact license and TNCC certification.

The unit operates with 12-hour day shifts and rotating weekends, in a 54-bed ED supported by a large staff and Meditech EMR. The ideal candidate has 1.5+ years of ER experience (2+ preferred), maintains required BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, and can provide SSN and date of birth for processing.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Minimum ER experience: 1.5 years; 2+ years preferred.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department with about 125 staff.
• Shift patterns: 12-hour day shifts 7A-7P; rotating weekends.
• Patient care at a 4:1 patient ratio; uses Meditech EMR.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department with approximately 125 staff
• Day shift staffing typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters, while night shift includes 2 charge nurses, 8 RNs, and 5 paramedics
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• 12-hour day shifts from 7A-7P
• Rotating weekend requirement
• Deliver patient-centered emergency care
• Team player mentality is ideal for this unit
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• No local candidates will be considered
