American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an ER RN for a night shift assignment in Washington. Requires at least 1 year ER experience and Epic proficiency, with an active WA or compact RN license at submission.

The position handles approximately 170 patients daily in a Level I stroke/cardiac center, with 3x12 hour nights and every-other-weekend shifts. First-time travelers are welcome, with housing and licensure support offered.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at submission.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications are required.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting seeing approximately 170 patients per day of all ages.
• Level 1 stroke and cardiac center, Level III trauma functioning as Level II.
• Patient ratio of 1:4.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating between units and potentially sister facilities within the state.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered for lower bill rate.

American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skills needed include IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial line management, respiratory and ventilator care, ABG interpretation, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Preferred skill: central line care/management
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for compliance

• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period if outside the 50-mile radius
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests should be submitted upfront and kept minimal, ideally under 7 days
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem
