Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Emergency Dept RN for a mid-shift 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM, 13-week assignment requiring 3+ years of ER experience and Texas or Compact RN licensure. The role includes travel benefits and a structured 24-bed ED with MEDHOST EMR.

Applicants must hold a Texas RN license (Standard or Compact) with current ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications and no gaps over 90 days in the past year. Ultrasound IV skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (Standard or Compact).
• Current ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC).
• 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• Standard emergency nursing experience required.
• Ultrasound IV skills preferred.
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Services department with 24 beds plus 4 hall beds.
• Patient ratio of 4:1 except in fast track/triage areas.
• MIDS shift 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• No floating required.
• No block scheduling.
• EMR system used is MEDHOST.
• Scrubs in any solid color are required.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Blackout dates after Thanksgiving and during Christmas/New Year week.
• Maximum RTO allowance of 3 shifts.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered

• Active RN license valid in the State of Texas (Standard or Compact)
• Current ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)
• 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Standard emergency nursing experience required
• Ultrasound IV skills preferred
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
