Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Texas. Active TX or compact RN license and ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.

Candidates will work 7p-7a with a 4:1 patient ratio, rotating weekends, and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Competitive pay, housing allowance, and travel reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required.
• Flu shot required with no exemptions granted.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment.
• 4:1 patient ratio.
• PM shift, 7p-7a.
• Rotating weekend requirement.
• On-call is optional.
• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process, from assessment through evaluation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• Black scrub color required.
