Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a mid-shift, 13-week assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA RN license, ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications, and CPI or MOAB certification. You will work in a hospital ED, triaging and delivering comprehensive care across the lifespan.

Shifts run from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM with every other weekend. Epic is used for charting; local candidates within 60 miles of Boston may be considered at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required; no exceptions for conditional licenses.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications required (AHA).
• CPI or MOAB certification required; primary source license verification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a hospital Emergency Department setting.
• Triage patients and deliver ongoing assessment and interventions.
• Care for a full lifespan population from neonate to geriatric.
• Work mid-shift 11:00 AM–11:30 PM; every other weekend.
• Use Epic for charting and interact with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Provides care to patients with urgent, critical, or non-urgent conditions
• Triages patients and delivers ongoing assessment, immediate interventions, and discharge teaching
• Cares for a full lifespan population including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Provides direct emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuities and age groups
• Interacts with patients and families at varying intellectual and physical ability levels
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
• Parking not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid lots available
