Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.

Open to MS or Compact licensure with at least 2 years of ED experience. The travel assignment runs 13 weeks with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MS or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience required.
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on the assigned rotation.
• Provide emergency care to patients across a variety of acute and critical presentations.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position.
• RTO requests must be less than one week.
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
