American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Washington. Candidates must hold an active WA state or compact RN license and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC).

Night shifts 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week, 1900-0730, with no on-call requirements. Responsibilities include high-quality patient care, nursing process, care plans, medication administration, documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week, 1900-0730
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float as a sitter; may float to Mares Campus
• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
• Conduct holistic patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Evaluate and adjust discharge plans based on patient needs
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions and responses
• Educate patients and families on health information
• Delegate and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care
• Maintain clean and safe environment per policies

• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation, including to Mares Campus
