American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a Level 2 trauma unit. The 22-bed ED requires 2+ years of ER experience, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications. Floating to sister campuses is expected, with housing and travel coordination provided.

Applicants must hold an active FL or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS, with TNCC/ENPC preferred. 12-hour night shifts, 3 per week, are offered in a travel-capable environment.

Responsibilities

• Level 2 trauma Emergency Department with a 22-bed unit
• High acuity ED managing complex patient cases
• Patient ratios of 3 to 4:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR: Epic
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses
• Provide emergency nursing care in a high acuity trauma setting
• Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
• Prior travel nurse experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel positioning, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to starting the assignment, as it will not be approved afterward
• No block scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates must be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
• Hard documentation deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending items
