Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in a Level 4 trauma center. This position requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and prior ER experience, with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and a 7-bed unit.

Candidates must hold an active KY or compact RN license, pass Nursys verification, and provide SSN and DOB for consideration. Living more than 60 miles away and not being employed full-time elsewhere are required conditions;

Qualifications

• Active KY or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience.
• Social Security number and date of birth required.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Critical Access Center Emergency Room setting with a Level 4 trauma designation
• 7-bed unit with patient ratios of 3-4:1
• Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Report to the Director of Clinical Services
• No specific scrub color required, but T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
