Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role at a Critical Access Hospital. The nurse must be able to float to Med Surg and meet several specialty certification requirements.

The position features 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights) totaling 36 hours per week for a 13-week contract, with no on-call responsibilities. Excellent pay, housing allowances, and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active SD or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Prior emergency department nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Critical Access Hospital ED.
• Float to Med Surg as needed.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts covering days, evenings, and nights.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment with no on-call responsibilities.
• Rotations include end-to-end ED care in a rural hospital setting.
• Scheduling requests not permitted.
