American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent ED experience and a GA or compact RN license.

The role includes 12-hour day shifts (7AM–7PM) with 3 shifts per week and no on-call duties, plus holiday coverage. Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered; returning staff must have a 2-year break to rejoin as non-local travelers.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week.
• Schedule varies between 7AM-7PM.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

• Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler.
