Qualifications

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ED experience.
- Level Emergency Department with 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
- Staffed by 77 total employees across day and night shifts
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Uses Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, and portable EKG machines
- Charts in Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- No floating to other units required
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
- One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
- Experience with NIH stroke assessment, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring preferred
- ENPC certification preferred
- Must demonstrate compassion, empathy, and strong team collaboration skills
- Royal blue scrub attire required per unit dress code
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
