Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift with flexibility to float between ED and Med-Surg. The role requires active Colorado RN licensure and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Patient care occurs in a hospital ED and Med-Surg setting, with a 1:4 ratio and Cerner EMR usage. The position features nights (6pm–6am), 3 shifts per week, and a typical 13-week assignment.
Qualifications

- ED and Med-Surg experience required; ability to float between ED and Med-Surg units.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications for a night shift position requiring flexibility to float between ED and Med-Surg.
- Hospital-based Emergency Department and Med-Surg float position
- Night shift schedule from 6pm to 6am, 3 shifts per week
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Weekend rotation required approximately every third weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification preferred but not mandatory
- Prior Emergency Department and Med-Surg experience required
- Ability to float between ED and Med-Surg units
- Provide direct patient care in both Emergency Department and Med-Surg settings as needed
