American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment in Georgia. The role requires active GA or compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least 1 year of ER experience.

The position involves 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), weekend rotation, and potential floating within the facility or to a sister campus. Pyxis and Epic systems are in use, and Navy blue scrubs are required.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Experience managing dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilated patients required
• Triage experience required
• Copies of all required certifications needed for consideration

• Required to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Experience managing dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilated patients required
• Triage experience required
• Copies of all required certifications needed for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting treating adults through geriatric patients
• Night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Required to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice, with possible floating to a sister campus
• No on-call requirements
• Unit utilizes Pyxis and Epic systems
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days of RTO, with RTO required at time of consideration
• RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• No special scheduling requests or alternate shifts permitted once assigned
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Holiday coverage required based on how many major holidays fall within the assignment period, with limited flexibility for RTO if three holidays occur
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former Piedmont permanent, PRN, or internal staff must be separated for one full year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers previously cancelled or unable to complete an assignment at a Piedmont facility must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before returning
