Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift across a network of New Jersey facilities. The role requires high-volume ED experience and Epic proficiency to support fast-paced patient care.

Qualified candidates hold an NJ or Compact RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 2 years of ED experience. You will float across seven hospitals, with night rotations, weekend/holiday coverage, and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or Compact RN license verified via Nursys within 2 weeks.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current; BLS not expiring within 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience (within last 12 months).
• High-volume ED experience required.
• Trauma and Stroke CEUs required.
• Must pass a 72-hour dysrhythmia test; 2 attempts allowed; PC-based.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Floating among seven hospitals: Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL, Camden Satellite, Berlin Satellite.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Care for adult/pediatric ED population in STEMI and Stroke Certified facility.
• Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, triage, isolation precautions.
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to unit work.
• Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions.
• RTO must be submitted at profile submission; no RTO after submission or within first week.
• Block scheduling is not permitted.
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a reduced local rate.

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required, verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, with BLS not expiring within 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required, within the last 12 months
