Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift in the Boston area. The role requires 4+ years of RN experience and at least 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center. Licensure in MA is mandatory with NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification. BLS is required; Epic is used for charting.

The position runs for 13 weeks with night hours and a 36–48 hour work week. Local candidates must live within 60 miles of Boston, MA. Attendance includes every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses).
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at most sites).
• 4+ years of RN experience required.
• 1+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience required.
• Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department Nursing unit.
• 13-week assignment on night shift (19:00-07:00).
• 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston, MA.
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid parking required.
• Timekeeping managed through UKG/Kronos.
