Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift travel assignment requiring prior travel nursing experience and an active MA RN license.

The role involves working in the Emergency Department of a hospital, with 12-hour night shifts (7p–7:30a), three shifts per week, and a schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday. Local candidates within 50 miles may receive a reduced local rate.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (current or conditional), verified via NURSYS.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year ED experience in acute care.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• 2 recent manager/supervisor references in ED.
• Skills checklist matching ED specialty.
• Driver's license with address matching demographics.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week.
• Schedule runs 7p-7:30a with every other weekend and holiday.
• No block scheduling allowed.
• Deferred schedule type with 36 guaranteed hours weekly.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide emergency department nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Must work every other major holiday.
• Scrubs of any color permitted.
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and is not guaranteed after confirmation.
• Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a reduced local rate.
