Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN for the Derby ER to cover ED shifts in a 52-bed facility. Expect fast pace, team nursing, and varied acuity with patient ratios around 3:1 on average.

You will perform IV starts, med administration, and pediatric care while adhering to unit policies and rapid response expectations. This assignment emphasizes reliability and adaptability in a large facility setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year acute care hospital ED RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS and TNCC certifications are required.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
• ENPC is preferred for priority consideration.
• Experience traveling or at large facilities is valued.

Responsibilities

• IV starts and medication administration for ED patients.
• Manage sedation and pediatric patient care as needed.
• Maintain accuracy in patient records and fast-paced workflow.

Patient Ratios 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds= team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
