Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel-NorthWest FSED RN for Northwest Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX. This onsite ED assignment runs 13 weeks starting 9/28/2026, with 3 shifts per week and 12-hour days, 1:4 patient ratios, EMR Meditech, and sepsis/STEMI/stroke/trauma focus.

Required: BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC; compact travel-friendly duties include anesthesia support and critical care handoffs. Housing and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Compassion, sense of urgency and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to rapidly identify sepsis, STEMI, stroke and trauma.
• Experience with airway management and ventilators is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Splinting, wound care, IV starts and medication administration.
• Ongoing patient assessments and re-assessments.
• Documentation and oversight of EMT-Ps when appropriate.

• o Day Shift – 06:30 – 18:30= 3 RN s, 9am- 6:30pm EMT-P or Nurse Extern
• o Night Shift – 5Pm-1am EMT-P and 3 RN s 18:30-06:30
• Patient Ratios – 1:4 depending on acuity
• Type of equipment – Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, Client cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers
• EMR - Meditech

• Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue, No hoodies

Unit Guidelines/Policies:

• Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building as well as communicate to the CNC

Weekends and On call(if any)

• Every other weekend, no on-call
